Gloe Cormie poems in the town of Gimli, Manitoba

I read Darcy Orestes a prose poem from my Sea Salt book that was inspired by the "Prairie Sea" (Lake Winnipeg) at Gimli. The poem features an ancient "havfrue" or mermaid, "so long in the sea, the
bronze features have been polished almost to the underside of a
silver spoon." She said "Wow, your poem gives me goose bumps!" I
said "It's probably the weather." But I was thrilled.
