Steven Schipper, Artistic Director for MTC (Manitoba Theatre Centre), has a quiet moment listening to my poem "By the River on Opening Night", before he dashes to the airport to meet a colleague. I also poemed MTC's Producer, Laurie Lam, who said she is camera-shy. However Laurie was enthusiastic about being poemed and emailed me the next day to say, ³Can't tell you what joy you brought to the dying afternoon yesterday. Every working stiff should get poemed on a Monday. Thanks again.'"
